Well looks like Nature wins this battle, unfortunately a last minute cancellation sees the Port Douglas Carnivale Street parade postponed until 1st June.

Well, unfortunately the weather hasn’t improved in time for the street parade, BUT, its not too cold and if you are on holiday, “who cares” right! Just enjoy yourselves. Get into the many restaurants and cafes, they will be keen to pur you a nice cold alse, or for you Victorians a crisp “Sauv Blanc” (get over it guys, the rest of Australia got off that years ago…) Anyway, there is plenty to do regardless.
